David Bishko has experience with more than 40 airlines throughout 25+ years of airline management and consulting, including Delta Air Lines and consulting firms Seabury Consulting and Accenture.
David brings more than 25 years of airline management experience to ASG. Most recently he was Chief Commercial Officer of Ravn Air Group, Alaska’s largest regional airline. Due to unfortunate timing with Covid-19, his brief experience there focused on selling the airline as part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy process. David joined Ravn from Seabury Consulting, a part of Accenture, where he supported airline clients worldwide with developing and implementing various commercial strategies.
Prior to joining Seabury, David had an 18-year career at Delta Air Lines including leadership positions in Alliances, Network Planning, Market Development, Sales, Corporate Strategy, and Finance. Between David’s role as head of Delta’s Alliances department as well as his consulting projects with Seabury, he has direct working experience at over 40 airlines worldwide.
David’s is recognized as an industry expert in airline joint ventures. While at Delta he built, implemented, and managed Delta’s JV with Air France – KLM. While at Seabury he was contracted by JV partners spanning the globe and global alliances to assist in all phases of partnership development. David has led JV workshops at many of the industry’s most prestigious airlines.
David earned a master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. He resides in both Anchorage, Alaska, and Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Martin Brahier has contributed his network strategy expertise to the success of Seabury Consulting clients and added value through network planning and revenue management for Southwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines.
Martin joins ASG with eight years in the airline industry where he served in network planning and revenue management positions at Southwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines, and was part of Seabury Consulting’s team of network strategy experts. At Delta, Martin played a key role in the expansion of their European partnerships and network connectivity within the Transatlantic joint venture. At Seabury Consulting, he advised clients around the globe focusing on long-term network strategy, hub development, network and schedule optimization, and partnership valuation. Martin has been based in Amsterdam since 2018. He holds a master’s degree from Cranfield University and is fluent in German and English.
Karl Evans has provided outstanding leadership of revenue forecasting analysis for 19 years at Seabury Consulting and strategic planning, revenue analysis leadership at US Airways.
Prior to ASG, Karl spent 19 years working at Seabury Consulting playing an integral role in Seabury’s successful carrier restructuring arm, where his work consisted primarily of restructuring and refining the commercial aspects of large and small international airlines, including fleet optimization, merger and codeshare analysis and network realignment. He is adept at network refinement and hub restructuring, as well as developing route profitability. Prior to Seabury Consulting, Karl held key management positions in the Strategic Planning, Revenue Analysis, and Financial Planning departments of US Airways. Karl holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He received a B.S. in accounting, cum laude, from Duquesne University.
David Hoppin brings 30+ years of developing prowess in commercial aviation data and business intelligence solutions to ASG. His global transport and logistics expertise and leadership gives our clients the data-driven solutions they need most.
ASG’s CEO David Hoppin has more than 30 years’ experience serving clients in the global transport and logistics industries, both as a data/solutions provider and as a consultant. Prior to cofounding ASG, David was CEO of Diio LLC, a specialized provider of commercial aviation data and business intelligence solutions including IATA PaxIS and Direct Data Solutions (DDS). In 2016, he led the sale of Diio to RELX plc, a FTSE 100 company, and supported the integration of Diio into RELX’s Cirium business unit. Prior to Diio, David was co-founder and managing director of MergeGlobal, a specialized management consultancy focusing on the global logistics industry. David’s clients included airlines, containership lines, TL/LTL motor carriers, industrial warehouse operators, airframers, equipment lessors and infrastructure operators. David directed project teams on engagements for clients in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia/Pacific. David graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. He resides in Virginia, United States.

Beginning his career with US Airways, David worked in operations control, revenue management, scheduling, network strategy, and regulatory affairs. He subsequently ran the company’s growing Caribbean and Latin American operation for two years.
David then joined United Airlines as Managing Director of their 100-aircraft international flight network, and later served as head of their alliances group, including joint ventures, bilateral partnerships, and global alliance management.
Following more than a decade at United, David joined APG/Seabury, which was later folded into Accenture Aviation, where he worked on various projects, primarily focused on improving airline clients’ network profitability through hub, fleet, and schedule design, including high-level footprint and scope development, as well as detailed resilience, operational excellence and slot (and other) compliance measurement.

Stefan Platter delivers the commercial analysis and technical solutions that airline clients need. His experience in building software, data products, and tools in addition to his extensive knowledge in fleet and network planning and partnership analysis gives ASG’s clients a distinct advantage.
Stefan brings 25 years of airline industry experience to ASG. Prior to joining ASG, he was a vice president with Seabury Consulting/Accenture for 18 years.
Ever since starting his aviation career in 1998, his primary focus has been to use his analytical capabilities and knowledge of data and tools to create the best possible outcomes for any questions related to fleet and network planning, partnership analysis, and other related commercial topics. He has played integral roles in building software, data products, and tools for his employers, and will also enhance ASG’s capabilities in those areas.
Stefan’s previous positions include leading the marketing research and long-term network planning departments at Austrian Airlines, a senior consultant role at SynGroup, a boutique Austrian consulting company, and lecturer positions at both the University of Vienna and the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland. At Seabury, he has worked for more than 50 airlines, airports, and OEMs on all continents.
Stefan holds a master’s degree in International Business Administration from the University of Vienna, and is fluent in German, English, Spanish, and Italian. He resides in a wine region right outside of Vienna, Austria.

Rich Scheff has added value for ASG clients with experience in coordinating relationships with regional carriers with Delta Air Lines’ Delta Connection. Rich’s 30 years of leadership, including 19 years with Seabury Consulting, spans airline network strategy and analysis.
Rich brings more than 30 years of experience within the aviation sector to ASG. He has developed expertise in network planning, fleet planning, demand forecasting, and operations research. Joining Seabury Consulting in 2002, Rich has worked on numerous fleet planning, fleet assignment, and network planning projects for airlines worldwide throughout his 19 years as a consultant. Prior to Seabury Consulting, Rich worked at Delta Air Lines for 14 years where he held key network planning positions across the spectrum of network strategy and analysis, in addition to coordinating the network planning relationship with the Delta Connection regional carriers. Richard holds a B.S. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology

Cliff has worked in the airline industry since he was 20 years old when he began his career as a cross-function agent at a small airport in New Hampshire. More than two decades later, Cliff’s career trajectory includes many leadership and consulting roles.
Cliff has robust experience in the development of revised product propositions and ancillary strategies and has recently supported numerous clients in their initiatives to redevelop and implement new product offerings to capitalize on the rapidly changing demands of the traveling public with focus on customer segmentation and willingness-to-pay.
From serving as an advisor in Accenture’s travel practice and at Seabury Consulting to various management and strategic roles in the industry, Cliff has a proven track record of leading medium to large-sized teams in driving business process optimization and incremental revenue improvement.
Cliff has also positively impacted the industry by serving as Director of International Pricing and Revenue Management for Hawaiian Airlines. There, he managed all facets of revenue management for Hawaiian’s international network. Cliff also spearheaded domestic pricing initiatives and managed the domestic pricing team for United Airlines.
Cliff’s recent airline engagements include work for Cathay Pacific, Avianca, Amadeus, United Airlines, and Fiji Airways.

Michael Mankowski
Senior Managing Director
Michael Mankowski has over twenty five years of commercial airline experience including seventeen years as an advisor in commercial strategy, pricing, revenue management, ancillaries and product proposition with over 70 client engagements around the globe.
Michael is a member of the ASG leadership team and is responsible for client management and project delivery of commercial engagements.
Michael is a leading advisory voice in the design and deployment of future airline pricing and revenue management capabilities leveraging his extensive knowledge of strategic and tactical revenue activities and industry best practices. Prior to joining ASG, Michael spent time at Accenture, developed the revenue management practice at Seabury Consulting, and was an advisor at Sabre Airline Solutions.
Prior to his advisory roles, he was a Senior Manager of Transcon/East Coast revenue management team at United Airlines. He was a Manager of the TED low fare product revenue management team at United Airlines. Michael also has experience in Cargo and Crew Scheduling from United Cargo and Atlas Air.
